Week Without Walls in Hakuba
At UIA International School of Tokyo, learning extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom. As part of our annual Week Without Walls (WWW) program, students embarked on an unforgettable outdoor adventure at the Evergreen Outdoor Center in Hakuba, where they challenged themselves, explored nature, and developed valuable life skills through hands-on experiences.
Nestled in the breathtaking Japanese Alps, Hakuba provided the perfect setting for students to step outside their comfort zones and embrace the spirit of adventure. Throughout the program, students participated in a variety of exciting outdoor activities designed to promote teamwork, resilience, communication, and leadership. Guided by experienced instructors from the Evergreen Outdoor Center, they worked together to overcome challenges, build confidence, and strengthen friendships in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The Week Without Walls program is an essential part of the educational experience at UIA International School of Tokyo. It reflects our commitment to providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities that complement academic studies. By engaging with the natural environment, students gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them while developing essential character traits such as perseverance, responsibility, and collaboration.
