Guiding you through every step

Operating since 2010, UIA Early Years provides early quality childhood education. Our primary focus is the wellbeing of every child. We provide our children the attention they need to grow and develop into happy, healthy people and be confident for school. Our After Care program is divided in 3 segments. From 2:00pm to 3:00pm, our students enjoy a well deserved break. Students can either sleep or undergo a quiet activity such as reading or drawing. From 3:00 to 4:00pm, it is snack and the first dismissal time.
The last segment begins with tutoring time. Under the guidance of the teacher, students complete their homework. It is also a great opportunity to provide reinforcement to the areas that need support. After that, students can enjoy a large variety of activities, such as art, science and of course some play time! Why don’t you join us?

Rules & Regulations

Enrollment & Registration

  • To enroll in the Aftercare service, please submit the registration form at the bottom of the page.
  • Enrollment is done on a full-month basis.
  • Processing time:
    - 1 week if using the bus service

    - 1 day if parents pick up from school
  • We recommend starting at the beginning of the month, as fees are charged monthly.
  • Aftercare follows the school calendar and is only available on student attendance days.
  • 14:00 – 15:00
    - Rest time for students.
    - Please send a labeled futon set to school.
    - Reference link for futon sets is provided below.
  • 15:00 – 16:00
    - Snack time.
    - Please send an extra, healthy snack for your child.
  • 14:00 – 18:00
    - Aftercare hours for Early Years.
  • Parents who wish to use the aftercare bus service must contact the bus department before enrollment.

  • Enrollment processing with bus service requires up to one week.
  • Aftercare fees are invoiced by the accounting team.
  • The August fee will be included in the September invoice.
  • The months of December (current year) and March (next year) are charged at 50% of the monthly fee.
  • Please refer to the fee policy for detailed information.
  • Any changes or cancellations must be notified to aftercare@uia.jp by the 20th of the previous month.
  • Requests received after this date cannot be cancelled and will be invoiced.
  • Increases in usage after the deadline will be treated as temporary use at ¥2,200 per hour.
  • Enrollment made after the 20th of the previous month will also be counted as temporary use.
  • Parents must arrange for a guardian registered with the school to pick up their child.
  • In cases where school services are suspended due to weather or other conditions, parents are responsible for arranging alternative care.
