Over the weekend, the UIA History Bowl and Bee team competed in the Japan Championships at St. Mary’s, and I’m proud to share that we achieved outstanding results and won both the Middle School and Junior Varsity divisions.
UIA A secured 1st place in the JV division. In a thrilling championship match, our two Grade 10 players came through in the clutch: Swara tied the game on the second-to-last question, and Julie sealed the victory by answering the final tiebreaker question.
UIA C delivered a dominant performance, sweeping every team in both the round robin and playoffs to claim 1st place in the Middle School division.
