Making a flower lei and patterning

Spring is in full swing and has brought an explosion of color and life to the Pandacorn classrooms, with flowers blooming everywhere. As part of their exploration of the Flowers and Plants theme, this week they engaged in a fun and creative activity that combined art learning and patterning.

Using pre-cut flower shapes, the students decorated the petals with colorful markers and creative designs. Then, they threaded the flowers onto a long piece of string, creating a stunning flower lei. By following the colors pattern, the Pandacorns learned about patterning and how it can be used to create visually appealing designs.

Thank you for making our classrooms more vibrant and pattern-filled. Well done, Pandacorns!
