Position Objective
The maths & science teacher is tasked with delivering the Cambridge curriculum to students in the secondary division. The teacher is expected to plan and execute lessons in alignment with the Cambridge International Curriculum and the Cambridge Learner Attributes — developing students who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged learners. The teacher is also tasked with establishing a safe, productive, and learner-centred learning environment.
In order to successfully meet the requirements of the curriculum, the maths & science teacher must balance lessons with practical labwork, classroom instruction, and inquiry-based approaches.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured, student-centered lessons that meet Cambridge curriculum.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Incorporate inquiry-based, project-based, or experiential learning where appropriate.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and engagement.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners.
Assessment and Reporting
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments in line with school guidelines.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Prepare accurate report cards and attend parent-teacher conferences.

Terms of Employment
- Working Hours: 08:15 to 16:30
- Probation Period: 3 months
- Referee request: 3 referees (including direct conversation)
- Background Check: current country (if applicable)
