Position Objective
The Computing teacher is tasked with delivering the Cambridge curriculum to students in both the primary and secondary divisions. The teacher is expected to plan & execute lessons through the Cambridge curriculum while also establishing a safe, productive, and learner-centred learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Create and execute effective lesson plans based on the Cambridge curriculum
- Create, develop, and implement a comprehensive curriculum guide or framework based on the Cambridge curriculums
- Practice effective classroom management
- Deliver effective formative and summative assessments
- Plan, design, and provide necessary support to students based on their individual needs
- Consistently monitor student behaviour, well-being, and progress
- Supervise students and practise effective duty of care
- Communicate and collaborate with team members
- Maintain consistent communication with students and parents and build positive relations between the all parties with the school

School Organisation
- Perform student supervision duties as requested
- Be available for experiential learning (eg Excursions, Week Without Walls, Sports Day)
- Actively participate in school events (This may include but not restricted House Activities, Extra Curricular Activities, Meet the Teachers night, Parent Teacher Conferences, Graduation)

Terms of Employment
- Working Hours: 08:15 to 16:30
- Probation Period: 3 months
- Referee request: 3 referees (including direct conversation)
- Background Check: current country (if applicable)
