The Admissions Manager is focused on providing a welcoming and efficient admissions process for prospective students and families.
This role demands strong organisational, communication, and strategic planning skills, along with the ability to work well in a multicultural environment.
First Contact: Manage initial inquiries and provide information to prospective students and families.
School Tours: Organise and lead tours of the school.
Assessment: Conduct new student assessment
Admission Events: Plan and execute Open House events.
Communication Management: Handle phone, email inquiries related to admissions, as well as conducting presentations to key stakeholders
Database Management: Maintain and update the school admissions database, with a preference for OpenApply experience.
Data Analysis: Compile and analyse data on student enrollment trends
Institutional Knowledge: Stay informed with all aspects of the school operations and goals.
Collaborative Updates: Work with leadership, management, and marketing teams to update admissions materials.
Event Support: Contribute to the planning and documentation of school events eg Summer School
Recruitment Strategy: Develop strategies to boost student enrollment.
Network: Build a network to continue to develop Admissions both domestically and internationally
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications or marketing.
Experience: 1-3 years experience in general affairs, administration, or a related field within an educational or multicultural setting is preferred.
Language Skills: Business-level English and Japanese (is able to read/write/communicate in both languages with minimal issues)
Communication: Excellent all-round communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Team Player: Positive and collaborative attitude.
Technology: Confident in the use of technology (proficiency in a Google environment and familiarity with administrative software.)
Flexibility: Willingness to take on tasks outside their immediate jurisdiction and adaptability to respond to changing circumstances
Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Self-starter: required to work independently. Other duties as assigned by the principal
