🟦 Position Objective
Exams Invigilators ensure fair, secure, and accurate administrations of Cambridge examinations by invigilating examination sessions in accordance with Cambridge Assessment International Education regulations and the school’s examination policies.
🟦 Position Profile
The Exams Invigilators support the smooth running of examination sessions by supervising candidates, maintaining examination security, and ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly before, during, and after examinations.
The Exams Invigilators:
- Must be punctual, detail‐focused, and able to maintain a calm exam environment
- Must be able to pay attention to details
- Must be reliable and show professionalism at all times
- Must be able to work calmly under time-sensitive conditions
🟦 Qualifications and Experience
- Applicants must not be related to candidates.
- Experience working in an educational or administrative environment is an advantage
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions accurately ● Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, and fairness
- Good communication skills in English
- Availability during examination periods and punctuality required ● Training will be provided; prior invigilation experience is desirable but not essential
Preferred
- Invigilation or school experience is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided. Experience in Cambridge International or international education
● Experience working across multiple campuses
🟦 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms according to Cambridge regulations
- Verify candidate identity and ensure correct seating arrangements
- Supervise candidates during examinations to maintain exam integrity
- Follow procedures for starting, conducting, and ending examinations
- Respond appropriately to candidate queries and report irregularities
- Maintain confidentiality and security of examination materials at all times
- Complete required documentation accurately and submit reports as required
