Field Trip to Sumida Aquarium
- Date June 2, 2023
On Thursday, June 1st, the Pandacorns visited Sumida Aquarium. It was amazing! After enjoying the sight of tropical fish, we moved to a dim area. The students went up some stairs, and below their feet, jellyfish were peacefully drifting. The changing lights made the atmosphere so relaxing. There were many different animals within, including stingrays and sharks. In the coral reef section, we enjoyed observing garden eels. Some pupils even spotted Nemo. Did you know that this fish was actually called a “clown fish”?
Last but not least, we went to see the penguins and sea lions. It was feeding time for the penguins. One of them was so hungry that it was trying to bite the employee’s leg as it was being fed. Despite not being able to find Mr. Max’s favourite fish, the lionfish, we had a great time.
A field trip to be remembered!
