The History Bee and Bowl team competed at the IHBB Japanese National Championships this past Saturday, April 22nd. Our 2 middle school teams met and competed with some of the brightest student minds from across Tokyo and Japan. After a long day of intense competition, one of our teams qualified for the semi-finals, but fell short in advancing and taking 3rd place overall in the middle school division.
9 of our players also competed in the History Bee. 2 of those players, Ved Keswani and Tanush Das, qualified for the final round in the middle school division. The final round was tough, but in the end Ved Keswani took 3rd place.
With their great performances, our 3rd place team, Ved, Tanush, and 1 other player, Swara Bhaiya, have all qualified to compete at the Asian Championships in Thailand.
Congratulations and well done to all our History Bowl team members and participants this past Saturday!
