Field Trip
Field Trips are designed to enrich and/or supplement the learning experience for students.
Model United Nation
Students in UIA’s MUN Club regularly participate in Model United Nations conferences both online and in person. After winning numerous awards, UIA gained acceptance to Harvard Model United Nations 2023 and hopes to attend annually going forward.
Tanabata
Students write and decorate wish cards in their second languages (Japanese, Hindi and French) to appreciate Japanese traditional culture.
Yoga
A demonstration of Yoga practices by Primary Specialty Yoga class.
University
Autumn Fair
The fair will be a fundraising event with a range of stalls, activities and games that parents and students can participate in. Participants donate food/items to charities such as “Second Harvest”
Annual Day
Annual Day is the end-of-year celebration of all student accomplishments throughout the year.
Project Week
Students will be engaged in independent research, critical thinking, problem solving and presentation.
Spelling Bee
Spelling bee contests are hosted each academic year in which the Primary and Lower Secondary students compete in spelling out English words accurately, and those who answer correctly until the very end are the winners.
University
Sports Day
Sports Day is a celebration of athletic competition between students. Students will compete against one another in a series of events with the hopes of taking top honors for the day.
Drills & Safety
Plan and organize activities for safety education. Drills (fire, earthquake and lockdown) take place regularly.
Yamathon
t’s a fundraising activity that consists of walking/running to all 30 stations on the Yamanote line!
