Purpose

The UIA House System is designed to give students from kindergarten all the way to grade 12 and teachers a time and a space to interact with one another across divisions. The House System aims to help students, teachers, and staff promote inclusivity, celebrate diversity, gain a sense of pride, spirit, and unity with their housemates as well as developing leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Within their houses, students will be able to participate in a variety of activities including competitions, volunteer-work, and team-building events that will allow them to become a closer and more tightly-knit community.

BUS INFORMATION

Parents are not allowed inside the school buses.

For Kindergarten students, parents/legal guardians MUST be at the bus stop wearing the lanyard for pick-up and drop.

If a parent/guardian is not present at the bus stop at the scheduled time for the bus arrival, the student cannot get off the bus. We will wait for 1 minute and try to contact parents. After that, we will bring the child back to Kiba campus.

Parents/Guardians will be notified and are required to visit the Kiba campus to pick up their child. In such a scenario, a penalty will be charged to the parents at the hourly rate of ¥11,000.

UIA will consider adding a new stop for students from Kindergarten to Grade 2 in the area of the existing routes.

The school bus may arrive earlier or later than the scheduled time, depending on traffic conditions. If the bus arrives early, they will wait until the scheduled departure time. If the bus does not arrive at the bus stop within 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, please contact 080-1187-9407.

Parents should report to the 3F to drop off or pick up their child.

If you want to cancel the bus service for the day, kindly inform us well in advance
