- Where are you currently based, what program have you enrolled in, and at which university? Tell us more about your study program and the university.
– Currently I am enrolled in the Global BBA Program at NUCB. The university is based in Nisshin, Nagoya. The program is a 4 year course that focuses on providing us with knowledge regarding the key elements of business. It covers a wide range of subjects in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Liberal Arts.
- What are some of your most memorable moments from your time at UIA?
– There are many memorable times at UIA for me like our lunch breaks where we would talk about the most mundane topics, the psychology research that my friend and I conducted, and last but not the least our graduation.
- What type of sports or non-academic activities were you involved with at UIA?
– I was not involved in any sports or non academic activities while I was at UIA, except for the Halloween event. We created a haunted house, if my memory serves me right.
- When was the last time you were back on campus? Would you like to conduct a class for our Grade 11 & 12 students to share your victories, advise, and information that will help students with their university application process?
– I have not been on campus since our graduation. I would not like to conduct a class because I really do not have any advice or information that they probably have not heard about already. But do let me know if there is anything else I can do, I would be glad to be of help.
- Given your experience, what sort of advice would you give to current UIA students?
– The advice that I would give to the current UIA students would be to research and familiarize themselves with the subject that they are interested in pursuing in the long run. If time permits, it would be beneficial for them to get experience through volunteering or working part time at companies that offer course related internships for students. It would help them gain better insight into whether their desired course/career path is suitable or not.
